A canceled subscription is considered "Active" until it expires on its next renewal date. On that renewal date, its status will automatically switch from "Canceled" to "Expired."
For example, if a monthly subscription renews on October 10th and the customer cancels on October 20th, the subscription would switch from a Canceled state to an Expired state on the next renewal date, November 10th. The subscription would be considered active until that date.
