Is a Canceled subscription "active" or "expired?"

A Canceled subscription is considered "Active" until it expires on its renewal date. On that renewal date, it switched from a Canceled state to Expired. 

 

For example, if a monthly subscription renews on October 10th and the customer cancels on October 20th: The subscription would switch from a Canceled state to Expired state on November 10th - the renewal date. That subscription would also be considered to be "active" until that renewal date, November 10th
