Cohort Analysis helps you understand subscriber retention by grouping customers based on when they first subscribed and tracking how long they stay active.
Who can access it?
This feature may not be included in the Core plan. It may require an additional cost. Contact your Recurly account manager or Recurly Sales for upgrade options.
What does it show?
Cohort Analysis groups subscribers by their first purchase date and shows how many remain active or renew their subscriptions over time.
Why use it?

Open the Cohort Analysis view in Recurly Commerce Analytics

Choose whether to view retention rates or subscription counts

Each cohort represents a group of subscribers who started in the same period

Review how many of them are still active over time

Flatter curves indicate stronger retention, while steep drops show potential churn risks
