To see how many subscribers canceled during their trial period, you can use the Subscriptions - Churned export and compare the trial and expiration dates.
Here are the steps to follow:

Download the Subscriptions - Churned Export:

In the Recurly Admin Console, go to Analytics > Exports.

Download the Subscriptions - Churned export.

Filter by Churn Reason:

Go to the
expiration_reasoncolumn and filter out either voluntary or involuntary churn reasons, depending on which category you are looking at.

Compare Trial and Expiration Dates:

Compare the
trial_ends_atdate with theexpires_atdate column. -
If the subscription expired on the same date as the
trial_ends_atdate, this indicates that the customer canceled during their trial and was never billed. -
If the expiration date is after the
trial_ends_atdate, this means the subscription did convert and the customer was billed.
