You can configure a subscription to automatically expire after one final renewal by adjusting its remaining term settings. This ensures the customer's service continues for one more billing period and then ends gracefully.
Here are the steps to set a subscription to expire after one more renewal:
-
In the Recurly Admin Console, go to the Subscription box for the desired account.
-
Click Options.
-
Select Edit Subscription.
-
Scroll down to the "Timing" section and go to the "Remaining Subscription Term" field.
-
Enter "1" into this field.
-
Under "At End of Subscription Term," select "Expire subscription".
-
Click Save Changes.
This action will update the subscription to allow for one more renewal. At the end of that final billing period, the subscription will then automatically expire.
