When you enable Two-Factor Authentication (2FA) for your Recurly account, an additional security step is added to your login process. You will be required to enter both your password and a second authentication code when you log in to the Recurly Admin Console.
This second authentication step is required under these circumstances:
-
If it has been more than 14 days since your last session.
-
If you are logging in from an unrecognized device.
The authentication code can be delivered to you via two methods:
-
SMS: The code can be sent to your registered mobile phone number.
-
Authy app: You can use the Authy application, which is available for download on your mobile device, laptop, or desktop computer, to generate the code.
It's important to note that Two-Factor Authentication is associated with your individual user profile in Recurly. This means if your user profile (linked to the same email address) has access to multiple Recurly sites (e.g., a sandbox site and a production site), enabling 2FA will apply to all of them, regardless of which site you are logging in to.
