The reason for this date discrepancy is that Recurly syncs data over to QBO using the UTC time zone.
For example, if a transaction processes at 7pm MST on March 31st, it will show that date and time in Recurly. However, it will sync over to QBO as 1am UTC on April 1st, showing a different date. This is expected behavior.
How to Resolve This Discrepancy
If you need the dates to match, you can update the renewal times of all subscriptions that renew on a specific day of the month. You will need to make the renewal time early enough to still be the same date in the UTC time zone.
For example, a subscription that currently renews on the 31st at 7pm MST would show a renewal date of April 1st in QBO. To have it sync with a March 31st date, you would need to update the renewal time to 5pm MST, which is 11pm UTC. This ensures the date posts as the 31st in both systems.
