How do I set up the Gorgias integration with Recurly Commerce? – Recurly

The Gorgias integration lets you view and manage Recurly Commerce subscription data directly from your Gorgias support tickets—saving time and improving customer service.

Before you begin

You need a Gorgias account with API access
You must have a Recurly Commerce subscription
Data refreshes only when a ticket is updated (e.g., when you send a message or update a tag)

What does the integration do?

This integration pulls subscriber and subscription contract data into the Gorgias sidebar. Agents can see customer details, review contracts, and take subscription actions without switching tools.

Subscriber properties available in Gorgias

Shown in the Subscriber widget:

Customer Since – Date they first became a subscriber
Email, First Name, Last Name
Id – Unique subscriber ID
Last Order – Date of the last processed order
Next Order – Scheduled date of the next delivery
Phone – Subscriber’s phone number
Total Active Subscriptions
Total Orders – Total orders placed

Subscription contract properties in Gorgias

Shown in the Subscription widget:

Contract ID – Unique subscription contract ID
Product Title – Subscribed product name
Status – ACTIVE, PAUSED, or CANCELLED
Updated At – Timestamp of last update
Order Interval Frequency and Unit – e.g., every 4 WEEKS
Next Order Date
Cancellation Reason – If provided

In-ticket subscription actions

From the sidebar, agents can:

Skip Subscription – Skip the next scheduled order
Change Delivery Date – Reschedule the upcoming order
Manage Subscription – Open the subscription in Recurly Commerce

Data refresh note

Gorgias only refreshes sidebar data when a ticket is updated. To force a data refresh, take any action like sending a message or adding/removing a tag.

How to set it up

In Recurly Commerce, go to Integrations → Gorgias
In your Gorgias dashboard, go to Settings → API and copy your API URL and Key
Paste them into Recurly Commerce and click Connect
