Migration process

1. Install Recurly Commerce

Download the Recurly Commerce app from the Shopify App Store
Choose the Starter or Pro plan
Complete checkout through Shopify

2. Grant collaborator access

Accept the invitation from Recurly Commerce
Keep all requested permissions intact—they’re required for a successful migration

3. Book a kickoff call

Schedule a 15-minute call with your Recurly Commerce CSM
Email support@recurly.com to get started

4. Submit the migration questionnaire

Provide your Shopify and Stripe API keys
This allows Recurly to pull in subscriber contracts, products, and customer data

5. Approve storefront components

Recurly will install the subscription widget and customer portal
Review and approve before going live
Your CSM will notify you once the storefront is ready

During migration

Recurly handles all the data transfer—no work required from your team

After migration

Your data is now live in Recurly Commerce
