Why Do Some of My Export Columns Show Distorted Numbers?

If you notice that some columns in your Recurly exports are showing distorted numbers with special characters instead of clean numerical strings, it is likely an issue with how the data is being displayed in Excel.

To fix this, follow these steps after opening the file in Excel:

1. Highlight the column with the distorted data.

2. Click on the Data tab at the top of the file.

3. Select Text To Columns.

4. A Text Wizard window will open. Click "Next" on the first two windows.

5. On the third window, select "Text" and then click "Finish".

As soon as you click "Finish," all of the fields in that column will convert to text and display the correct information.
