When you add an additional user to a subscription plan in the middle of a billing cycle, Recurly automatically issues an invoice with a prorated price for the new user for the remaining part of the month. Your Monthly Recurring Revenue (MRR) would only be increased for this prorated amount, not for the full month.
You can see the exact dates the additional user will contribute to MRR by looking at the start and end dates next to the line item charge on the invoice.
For example, if adding an additional user costs $10, but you add them halfway through the month of June, the customer would be charged $5 for the remainder of the month. The start and end dates on the invoice line item would show June 15th through June 30th. These are the dates that the additional user would contribute to MRR, at a rate of approximately $0.33 per day ($5 divided by 15 days).
