When you send a user invite to an alternate email address that you own, the invite may still show as "pending" even after it has been accepted. This can happen if you accept the invite in the same browser where you are still logged in with the email address that sent the invite.
To prevent this issue, we recommend one of the following:

Open the invite in a private window: Open a separate private or incognito window to accept the invite.

Log out of Recurly: Log out of your Recurly account before opening the email with the invite and accepting it.
We have observed that when you are still logged in with the email that sent the user invite, this can lead to difficulties accepting the new invite using the alternate email address.
