You can change a customer's payment method from PayPal to a credit card using one of two methods:
Method 1: Clear Billing Information as an Admin User

From the customer's account page in the Recurly Admin Console, click on Edit near their Billing Information section.

On the following page, you will see a red "Clear Billing Info" button in the top right-hand corner.

Clicking this button will remove the PayPal billing information and allow a credit card to be entered.
Method 2: Use the Hosted Account Management Page

From the customer's account page, scroll down to the Hosted Pages section.

As long as hosted pages are enabled, and the customer view is set to "Account Login," you will see a URL labeled as "Account Management URL."

Visit that page, click the button that says "Need To Change Payment Method?" and then select Credit Card to make the change.

The Hosted Account Management URL is a customer-facing page, so you can also send this link to the customer directly.
While changing from PayPal to a credit card is allowed, the reverse is not possible for an existing subscription. To change from a credit card to PayPal, you would need to start a new subscription for the customer that allows them to enter into a new billing agreement with PayPal.
