Currently, you cannot customize or edit the automatic retry schedule that intelligent retries process through. Every declined transaction is different based on the large number of possible decline errors given by the payment gateways that we support. This makes a static, one-size-fits-all retry schedule less effective in the long term and instead we use machine learning to put together an intelligent retry schedule that is specifically tailored to each individual declined transaction. That’s a big part of the reason why the retry logic isn’t configurable, due to the intelligent Revenue Optimization Engine that's in use.
