Before proceeding with closing your Recurly site, we highly recommend taking several steps to ensure you retain necessary data and prevent any unwanted customer communications. Once your site is closed, you will no longer have access to your account or the data stored within it.
Here are the recommended actions:

Export All Necessary Data: Visit the Data Exports pages in the Recurly Admin Console and download any data you may need to retain. This is crucial as access to your account and data will be lost once the site is closed.

Disable All Email Templates (Optional but Recommended): To prevent any further notifications from being sent to your customers, you can disable all of your email templates. Once you close your site, Recurly will automatically stop all billing related to your customers and terminate their subscriptions.
Once these preparatory steps are completed, you can proceed with closing your site:

Access the Recurly Account page under the Admin tab in the left-hand navigation menu of your Recurly Admin Console.

Click on Close Your Site at the bottom of the page.

You will be prompted to confirm your decision. After confirmation, you will be automatically logged out as the site closure process completes.
