Why am I getting an invalid address error when I try to add a new subscription to an account?

If you’re trying to add a new subscription to an account in the Recurly console or via an API and get the error “The address provided is invalid, could not determine taxing jurisdictions,” this issue is most often due to calling the invoice preview endpoint as part of the signup process.

To get around this, you can create the subscription via the UI (in the web console), or you can do it via API without using the Invoice Preview.
