Is there a way to add a company name with more than 100 characters?

At this time the company name field in the Account Information tab of customer accounts is limited to 100 characters. We do not have a way to bypass this limitation.  If you are interested in being able to add more characters to this field, please reach out to our support team and we can open a feature request for you.
