Will adding a second subscription to an account affect Subscriber Growth?

The Subscriber Growth dashboard specifically focuses on new subscribers, returning subscribers and churned subscribers. 


The definition for each category are as follows:

  1. New: A subscriber creating their first subscription.
  2. Returning: Someone who was previously a subscriber, churned for at least 1 day, and has now opened a new subscription. Either subscription could be/ have been in trial or on any plan and the subscriber is still considered returning.
  3. Churned: Someone who had a subscription(s) previously but now all subscriptions have expired.


Based on the above logic, a subscriber who adds a second subscription to their account would not fit into any of these categories and therefore would not affect the Subscriber Growth report.
